We are seeking a strategic and forward-
thinking leader with a passion for strengthening systems, managing risk, and driving organisational performance.

FPC (Forest Products Commission) is a Government Trading Entity that delivers timber products and services across three business segments – plantations, native forest and sandalwood.
Our team engages with communities, industry and government to support a vibrant and sustainable forestry industry.
FPC owns and manages softwood plantations to support WA's housing and construction industry.
We are actively investing in the acquisition of new land and plantations to ensure future supply and assist in addressing the challenges of climate change.
FPC has transitioned its native forest business in alignment with the government's changes in forest policy.
This has resulted in a shift from commercial scale forest harvesting to the provision of services to the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions for forest health outcomes.
About the role
The Director Systems and Risk is responsible for providing contemporary and strategic leadership across all areas of corporate policy, systems and risk mitigation to meet FPC's business needs and Board Secretariat requirements.
The key span of functions includes information technology, legal and audit, policy, governance, Board Secretariat and corporate project management.
This role provides strategic leadership, setting direction and driving delivery across multiple corporate projects.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director Systems and Risk plays a pivotal role in implementing the ICT strategic direction, business development, document management needs, risk mitigation, and corporate governance and reporting across the agency and at Board level.
The role optimises processes, manages risks, and provides expert strategy and reporting on compliance and governance controls.
