Use your skills to support and manage the development of an investment ready plan for the Bush Foods, Botanicals & Community Precinct at CDU's Katherine Rural Campus.
Lead the project partnership group in co-design activities, working closely with first nations communities, organisations and stakeholders to ensure successful and relevant project outcomes.
About the Position
As
Project Manager
, you will lead the project partnership group in the co-design and delivery of an investment ready plan for the Bush Foods, Botanicals & Community Precinct at CDU's Katherine Rural Campus.
The position is responsible for driving implementation, monitoring progress, and reporting on strategies that include First Nations community engagement, stakeholder consultation, and capacity building initiatives.
You will require strong oversight of contracts, budgets, and risk, along with the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs.
Experience in genuine co-design activities with First Nations communities and conflict resolution skills are an advantage.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively and build strong partnerships across CDU, with Australian and NT Government agencies, First Nations communities, and other non government organisations.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Demonstrated high level cross cultural, interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate across an organisation and build productive relationships with colleagues, constituents and external stakeholders.
Experience in financial planning and management, including budgeting, reporting, cost recovery in line with organisational processes.
Proven experience in co-design processes, negotiations, consultations, conflict resolution, contract administration, and effective meeting facilitation.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare fit for purpose documents such as submissions, business communications and reports.
Commitment to the University's values.
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge of agricultural science, agribusiness management, or natural resource management.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AIPM Project Manager).
Experience in working on co-designed projects
Demonstrated understanding of and interest in,



the lived experiences of First Nations people in the Big Rivers Region.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional employee level 8.
The base salary will be in the range of $108,******– $122,****** per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $126,****** - $143,****** per annum, including 17% superannuation.
