Position
Unicorn Transport Equipment is currently seeking experienced Heavy-Duty Steel Body Builders to join our team, building the growing range of heavy-duty bodies we have on offer.
Work experience should include but not limited to:
• Basic transport bodies with cargo gates, safety rails, ladders, lashing rings, three-point access, and storage solutions.
• Sea container transport anchors.
• Custom mine spec bodies build.
• Beaver tails.
• Tail lifters.
• Crane trucks.
• Tipper bodies.
To be successful for the role you must have:
• A bodybuilding trade qualification, or considerable experience in heavy-duty bodybuilding.




• Skills in all facets of steel fabrication and a high level of competency in MIG welding a wide range of steel thicknesses and grades.
• Experience in working with hardox.
• Proficiency in the use of steel fabrication tools and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to assist in design change and continual product improvement.
• Preferred Fork-lift license (current).
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a Team.
• Be safety conscious, of yourself and those around you.
