About Company We require a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the supply chain operations of the company's distribution division.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for organising, coordinating, and managing the supply and distribution of products, ensuring that stock is available when required and that supply chain operations are efficient and cost-effective.
The key responsibilities and duties of the position will include the following: Overall in charge of supply and distribution operations.
Monitoring and supervising supply team, which includes:



customer service team (order taking staff), warehouse staff and delivery staff.
Exploring options to improve supply chain networks and adopt reliable storage and fast distribution procedures.
Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate efficient deliveries.
Implement new or improved supply chain processes and plans.
Develop policies and strategies for effective operations of the supply unit.
Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
Monitoring purchase and ensure the products are stored within the prescribed temperatures and storing conditions.
Check stock levels to meet the supply demands including re-ordering and re-stocking promptly.
Organise appropriate material handling equipment including forklifts etc., and arrange sufficient staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials to control stock and meet demand.
Ensure the products are delivered promptly with quality.
Communicating with wholesalers and retailers to make sure they receive their goods on time and in the right condition.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers.
