Estimator
to join their Canberra team.
This opportunity would suit an estimator who takes pride in producing accurate, commercially sound tenders and enjoys being trusted to manage the estimating process from start to finish.

The Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the complete tender process across a range of building, remediation, refurbishment, defence, façade upgrade and cladding replacement construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, pricing submissions, and tender documentation
Manage the full tender lifecycle, including pricing strategies, subcontractor engagement, procurement, and risk assessment
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
Identify commercial risks, opportunities,



and value engineering initiatives to enhance project outcomes
Ensure all tender submissions comply with company procedures, governance requirements, and client specifications
Provide support across broader estimating and business development activities as required
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and key industry stakeholders
What experience are we looking for?
We are interested in speaking with Estimators who possess:
Previous estimating experience within Remedial Building, Refurbishment, Defence, Façade Upgrade and Cladding Replacement Construction projects
Strong knowledge of first principles estimating
The ability to work independently and take ownership of tenders
Excellent commercial and financial acumen
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Established industry relationships will be highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience using estimating software packages, with Pronamics Expert Estimation experience viewed favourably
Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
