Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Casual Cleaning Technician
to join our team in Perth.
The role involves cleaning and decontaminating areas affected by trauma, crime, biohazards, and other sensitive incidents.
This position requires discretion, physical stamina, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform specialised cleaning, sanitisation, and decontamination of trauma and biohazard-affected areas.
· Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with health regulations.
· Follow strict safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
· Provide professional and compassionate service to clients.
· Accurately document work completed, including incident reports and safety checklists.
· Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and after-hours shifts.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning,



or related fields is preferred but not required.
· Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and extensive manual labour.
· Solid attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
· Willingness to work in challenging environments, including trauma scenes and biohazard conditions.
· A valid driver's license and reliable transport.
· Ability to obtain a police clearance and pass a drug and alcohol test.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
· Training in biohazard cleaning, infection control, or WHS procedures is an advantage.
