As Water Park Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and skilled operation of both facilities while delivering an exceptional experience for all visitors.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the water parks, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
You will lead a dedicated team while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of both Leanyer and Palmerston Water Parks.
Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and support to operational staff.
Ensure compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
Maintain high standards across all aquatic facilities, water play equipment, amenities, buildings, and surrounding grounds.
Coordinate daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and facility condition reporting.
Monitor water quality testing and ensure compliance with all relevant health and regulatory requirements.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer enquiries.
Foster a positive, safety-focused culture while delivering outstanding customer service.
Manage staffing requirements, scheduling, performance, and ongoing development.
Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
About You
The successful applicant will be a confident and proactive leader with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
You will possess:




Proven leadership or supervisory experience in aquatic facilities, recreation, hospitality, tourism, local government, or a similar operational environment.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
High attention to detail and the ability to maintain exceptional facility standards.
The ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team.
Sound computer and administrative skills.
Essential Requirements
Current Northern Territory Driver Licence (Mandatory).
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (alternative arrangements may be considered for the right candidate).
Desirable Qualifications
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience managing aquatic or recreational facilities.
Pool Plant Operator qualification or experience (highly regarded).
