To be considered for this contract you will need to be an Australian citizen and have an NV1 clearance in place at commencement.
Contract due to commence August ****.
The Commonwealth requires the services of Systems Engineers with Cryptographic skills to support of the JP **** Cryptographic Modernisation program with an emphasis on the Combat Identification (CID) and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) components.
Some the key tasks will include:
Identify, manage and coordinate trials required for new or modified capabilities including risk identification and treatment recommendations (that is covering multi-domain integration and interoperability risks) and safety programs.
Plan, conduct and report on the assessment of operational effectiveness and operational suitability of new or modified capability to expected baselines.
Analysis of T&E; results to demonstrate or prove new and upgraded capability meets agreed and/or expected certification standards.
Provide advice on IFF T&E; matters.
Assist and where required lead in the development of CID-IFF programmatic Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP) activities.
Implement trial safety and risk analysis.




Support T&E; coordination between the domains to achieve integrated, Joint IFF T&E; outcomes
Provide support to C4ISR Design on Waveforms Standards.
Develop, deliver and manage ODCS artefacts to enable the CID-IFF capability to meet directed Cryptographic Modernisation requirements.
Develop, deliver and manage artefacts to support current in-service management of CID-IFF products.
Develop and deliver artefacts that enable a synchronised approach to Defence regulatory frameworks for acceptance, repair & maintenance.
Support the development of the CID-FFT life cycle management framework, including the delivery of Product Delivery Agreements and other management plans.
As the ideal candidate you will have the following required capabilities:
Robust Test & Evaluation capability within a Defence framework.
Experience in undertaking trials.
Experience and exposure to Cryptographic equipment.
Experience with Combat Identification (CID) – Mode 5 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) capability.
