Maintenance Officer
to join a busy Waste management facility in Yatala
Yatala, QLD
$41/hr + Penalties + Overtime
Day Shift |
This is a hands-on role working working on a wide variety on task and duties
Benefits
$41 per hour + penalty rates
Overtime available with OT pay rates
Consistent day shift (5:00am – 1:30pm)
8 -10 weeks role

Key Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair
Plumbing
Welding
Building Maintenance
Forklift License required
Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations
Follow strict safety and maintenance procedures
About You
No formal Qualification required
Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar role
Practical experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
Basic plumbing and welding experience (highly regarded)
Experience in general building maintenance and repairs
Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safe work practices
Experience working in industrial, construction, or waste management environments (desirable)
Forklift operation experience and a current forklift licence (preferred)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
