Our Operations Team is growing to support service, maintenance
and infrastructure delivery for the Town of Victoria Park into the
future.
This growth means the creation of new roles and a
continuing focus on working collaboratively to best serve our
vibrant inner-city community.
From Town assets maintenance, environment and parks, to
technical services, waste, major infrastructure delivery and
property development, we're looking for motivated individuals keen
to contribute to a multi-functional and team-oriented team
environment.
Through robust leadership, you will drive asset management
excellence and create meaningful outcomes for our community.
An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and
experienced Manager Assets to join the Town on a full-time contract
(up to 5 years)

Your new role
As the Manager Assets,



you will lead the Town's asset management
function, ensuring the effective planning, performance,
sustainability and governance of the Town's asset portfolio.
You
will drive best-practice asset management, support evidence-based
investment decisions, and oversee the development of asset
strategies that deliver long-term value to the community.
Key responsibilities include
Strategic asset management planning and governance.
Asset lifecycle planning and investment optimisation.
Asset information management and continuous
improvement.
Asset risk management and performance monitoring.
Leadership and development of the asset management
team.
Building organisational asset management capability and
stakeholder engagement.
Driving operational excellence through the delivery of
efficient, effective and customer-focused asset management
services.
Fostering a positive, safe and inclusive workplace culture
that supports employee wellbeing, collaboration and high
performance.
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking an experienced leader who can demonstrate:
Experience in asset management, infrastructure planning,
engineering or a related discipline.
Proven leadership and people management capability.
Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving
skills.




Experience driving asset planning, performance improvement
and risk management outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication
skills.
The ability to lead change and foster a culture of
continuous improvement.
Sound judgement, accountability and a commitment to
customer-focused service delivery.
The benefits of working for us
This position is offered on a five-year Contract
salary range of $155,137 - $171,119
$16,000 vehicle allowance
up to 19% Council superannuation contribution
five weeks annual leave
