About the Role
As an imperative part of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management (WCIM) team, the Workers Compensation Claims Management Officer is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of Workers Compensation and Personal Accident claims.
Additionally, you will provide valuable support and actively collaborate with stakeholders, implementing effective claims management strategies for DFES employees and eligible volunteers.
Often the first point of contact for general enquires and matters relating to WCIM, your understanding of relevant legislations and industry standards will be essential is ensuring correct advice and guidance is provided to both internal and external stakeholders.
With a commitment to safety and wellbeing, there will be opportunities to collaborate across other sectors of Human Resources and Safety, and Operational Commands, allowing continuous improvement of service delivery, project prospects, and further supporting the organisation.

Eligibility To Apply
Must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency to be considered for permanent appointments or hold a working visa covering the term of the contract (proof must be provided with your application) to be eligible for this position.
National Police Certificate
A condition of employment for new employees of DFES is that a current National Police Certificate (less than 3 months old) is provided prior to commencement.
