The Project
The Alkimos Desalination Plant Project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant, with first production in ****.
Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

The Role




You'll carry out electrical installation work across the plant, from switchboards through to cable terminations.
Day to day, you'll install and assemble LV and HV switchboards, terminate power, control and instrumentation cables, and install and secure cabling in trays, conduits and underground services.
You'll read drawings and diagrams, assist with cable pulling, and support testing and fault finding.
You'll work closely with the wider construction team, completing QA checks and toolbox talks as you go.
What you need
Unrestrictred - WA Electrical Workers Licence (essential)
Time served apprenticeship certificate
UEE***** - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Australian Electrical Trade Qualification and Construction White Card
Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR, EWP licence
Experience on major infrastructure, water or industrial projects
A genuine safety first attitude
Desirable
Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics
PLC, HV Switching or Hazardous Area (EEHA/Ex) certification
Certified Profibus/Profinet installer
