About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a People and Culture Officer within the Corporate Services.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurate administrative support across core HR activities including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, performance processes, learning coordination, data maintenance, and reporting.
The role supports the delivery of a consistent and positive employee experience and contributes to compliance with public sector frameworks.
The role is to cover a period of parental leave and is available for immediate start.
Ther may be potential for extension beyond the leave cover period.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience providing HR, recruitment or business support in a dynamic, quick-paced team.
Working knowledge of HR policies, legislation, and processes relevant to the NSW public sector.
Proficient in using HR systems (e.g. HRIS), SharePoint,



and reporting tools such as Excel.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Essential Requirements
To be eligible to apply for this position, applicants must have existing Australian work rights.
Given the HCCC's unique and critical role in maintaining the integrity of the NSW health system, it is essential that all prospective employees are able to carry out their duties in an independent, honest and consistent manner with uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a Background Verification Check which includes a National Police Check (Criminal History), qualification check, and may be required to hold a current paid Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
