Slater Electrical is seeking a skilled and experienced
Electrician
to join our team on a
full-time basis

What you'll be doing
As an Electrician at Slater Electrical, your key responsibilities will include:
Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, wiring and equipment in residential and commercial properties
Testing electrical systems and components using specialised diagnostic equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
Troubleshooting electrical faults and providing effective solutions in a timely manner
Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations and Australian Standards
Conducting safety inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used on site
Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently
What we're looking for
To be successful in this Electrician role, you will need:
Current Australian Electrical License (State Registration) for Western Australia - EW Licence
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as a qualified electrician in the Australian market
Strong knowledge of electrical theory,



wiring methods and installation techniques
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation
Competence in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, insulation testers and circuit analysers
A solid understanding of the National Electrical Code and relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS ****)
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Robust communication and customer service skills
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health and safety protocols
Preferred: Experience in residential, commercial or industrial electrical installations
Must have a White Card & Drivers licence
