We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Registered Nurse
to join our residential aged care team and provide exceptional clinical leadership and person-centred care to our residents.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who is passionate about aged care and thrives in a leadership position supporting both residents and staff.

Central to the lively local community, The Belmont proudly offers a comprehensive array of senior care services, catering to the diverse needs of older people seeking quality nursing home and aged care options in the Geelong region.
Located in Wallington, and close to the picturesque Bellarine Peninsula, and offering captivating views of the surrounding countryside, TLC Healthcare
Wallington
boasts a recently renovated residential aged care home –
TLC Aged Care Homestead Estate
– for residents wanting an elevated standard of care, and a co-located medical centre.
About the Role
As a
Registered Nurse
, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day clinical management of our residential home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while providing leadership, guidance and support to care teams.




Key responsibilities include:
Delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care
Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and support to nursing and care staff
Coordinating assessments, care planning and documentation
Building positive relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals
Monitoring and supporting clinical outcomes and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Managing incidents, complaints and after-hours operational issues when required
Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC requirements and organisational policies
Promoting a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essential
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated experience working within residential aged care
Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
Sound understanding of AN-ACC, infection prevention and control, and aged care legislation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to lead, mentor and supervise multidisciplinary care teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Computer literacy and experience with clinical documentation systems
Commitment to resident-centred care and continuous improvement
What You'll Need
Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
Current AHPRA registration
Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
**** Influenza vaccination
NDIS Check (including Police Clearance)
Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
Excellent time management and communication skills
