Care for the people of Canberra in a role where familiar faces are part of the job
About the role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for their entire visit.
Your day will include:
Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiencyScheduling and confirming appointments across multiple imaging modalitiesProcessing Medicare, DVA and private billing accuratelyHandling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrersMaintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flowWorking closely with clinical staff to keep the day running seamlesslyAdapting comfortably to the pace and workflow of different sites, including the hospital environment at National Capital Private Hospital
About you
Previous experience in reception or customer service.
Medical or radiology experience is a bonus, but not essentialA warm, calm and professional manner, especially with patients who may be anxious or unwellStrong attention to detail and confidence with computer systemsGreat communication skills and a genuine team-player attitudeComfortable travelling between sites across Belconnen, Phillip and National Capital Private HospitalFamiliarity with Medicare billing or radiology information systems
