Every project, every partnership, every win at ISSG is a story worth telling properly.
We're looking for a creative, self-driven storyteller to lead our marketing and communications function - picking up the camera, the pen and the brand book to put Aboriginal business success in the spotlight, across ISSG and its client companies.
About the Role
As ISSG's dedicated marketing and communications lead, you'll manage digital communications, coordinate events and promotional activity, develop marketing materials and create
engaging content across a range of platforms - working closely with internal teams

Indigenous Shared Services Group (ISSG) is based in South Perth, delivering shared services across a group of client companies operating primarily in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
Content Development
•Shape capability statements, company profiles, newsletters, media releases, case studies, presentations and brochures that people actually want to read
•Take technical, operational and commercial detail and turn it into engaging content
•Coordinate photography and graphic design
•Ensure all materials align with ISSG's branding, values and quality standards
Digital Communications
•Manage and grow ISSG's LinkedIn presence, plus the LinkedIn pages of client companies
•Develop and maintain content calendars for consistent, engaging digital communications
•Create written, visual and multimedia content that builds brand awareness and supports business development
•Keep website content current, accurate and aligned with organisational branding
•Monitor digital performance, audience engagement and emerging trends
Brand Management
•Maintain and strengthen the ISSG brand and the brands of its client companies

•Ensure branding is applied consistently across digital platforms, publications, advertising, signage, promotional merchandise and corporate documentation
•Coordinate the design, production and procurement of marketing and promotional materials
Marketing and Communications
•Develop, implement and continuously improve marketing and communications initiatives that support ISSG's strategic objectives and those of its client companies
•Increase brand awareness and strengthen stakeholder engagement by showcasing Aboriginal business success
•Identify and act on opportunities to promote the services, achievements and capabilities of ISSG and its client companies
Campaigns and Events
•Coordinate marketing campaigns that support business development, recruitment and stakeholder engagement
•Plan, coordinate and promote corporate events, sponsorships, conferences and exhibitions
•Evaluate campaign and event outcomes and recommend opportunities for improvement
Stakeholder Engagement
•Develop and maintain robust working relationships with Aboriginal businesses, client companies and internal and external stakeholders
•Represent ISSG at networking events, conferences, exhibitions and community engagement activities as required
Research and Continuous Improvement
•Monitor industry trends, digital marketing developments and best practice to identify opportunities for improvement
•Monitor and report on website, LinkedIn and campaign performance

•Contribute to the ongoing improvement of marketing systems, processes and resources
Business and Corporate Services Support
•Work closely with the Business Operations Coordinator to support organisational priorities, strategic initiatives and business improvement projects
•Act as ISSG's primary marketing and communications resource, providing advice, support and guidance across the organisation and its client companies
•Support the Receptionist/Administration Assistant where required
•Undertake other duties consistent with the level and responsibilities of the position
What You'll Need
•Demonstrated experience in a marketing, communications or similar role
•Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations or a related discipline (desirable)
•Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Planner, Lists, etc.) and experience using Canva or similar digital design applications
•Demonstrated experience managing digital communications, including LinkedIn business pages and website content
•Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and take ownership of marketing and communications activities with minimal supervision
•Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders
•Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
•Creative, proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and identify opportunities to improve marketing and communications
