About the Role
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day coordination of the Communities for Children program, ensuring effective delivery across diverse locations and stakeholders.
You will work closely with community partners to deliver high-quality, culturally safe and responsive programming.
Day to day you will be
Leading the ongoing coordination and implementation of the CfC program across Palmerston and Tiwi Islands
Providing day-to-day support to subcontractors, ensuring delivery aligns with program objectives, funding requirements, and community needs
Managing program finances, monitoring budgets and supporting delivery within funding agreements
Overseeing reporting, data collection, monitoring and evaluation to demonstrate impact and inform continuous improvement
Ensuring strong safeguarding practices and compliance with Red Cross policies and relevant legislation
Building and maintaining effective relationships with community members, stakeholders, and service providers
Identifying opportunities to strengthen program delivery, improve systems and reduce risk
What you will bring
Sound experience in the implementation, coordination and delivery of volunteer led programs/projects
Experience working with volunteers/community members
Experience in delivering project/program outcomes
Ability to set priorities, plan and organise own work and that other staff and/or volunteers as required
Sound discipline knowledge working within community-based programs gained through experience, training or education
A current, valid Ochre Card, or the ability to obtain one, is a mandatory requirement of this role
