About the role
As a Patient Support Officer at Perth Radiological Clinic, you will play a critical front-line role in helping patients navigate their care experience.
Based in our centralised call centre, you will handle high-volume inbound calls, provide accurate information, and schedule appointments across a range of imaging modalities.
You will receive thorough training over the first 4–6 weeks and be paired with experienced team members to support your development in PRC systems and processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Answering a high volume of incoming calls ****** per day) from patients and addressing a wide range of enquiries
Scheduling appointments accurately across multiple clinics and modalities (e.g. X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound)
Providing patients with clear and detailed information on procedure preparation and billing
Liaising with PRC's referrers and coordinating with Clerical and Technical Clinic staff
About you
You are an excellent communicator with a calm and supportive approach.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are committed to delivering a seamless and positive experience for every patient.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Prior experience in a customer service, call centre, or healthcare administration role
Confidence in learning and navigating new systems
A clear and professional phone manner with strong listening skills
Excellent attention to detail and task management
The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across teams
Full Australian working rights
A valid National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
