The Role
Reporting to the Pricing Manager and Scheduling Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to accurately quantify & order all the materials and labour required to build each individual home.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Calculating & ordering all quantities for homes across a variety of different types including single storey.
Checking of colleague's work
Assisting with supplier and Site Manager queries
Raising purchase orders and sending to all relevant parties
Approving and processing invoices for suppliers & contractors
Maintaining robust relationships with Company suppliers
Who We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes, or be willing to be supported to achieve these:
Experience in Scheduling in the residential construction industry
Ability to accurately read and interpret residential building plans
Trade background experience will be strongly considered
Be self-motivated with good communication skills
Must have strong attention to detail & problem solving abilities
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Experience using Truth Engine desirable but not essential
Recent Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Highly Desirable)
