About the Role As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Underground Nippers to join the team on a full-time basis, working a 14/7 FIFO roster from Perth.
These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and effective underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.
Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Support the Jumbo Operator with ground support activities, including installing bolts and mesh Lift, load and set up each job site with bolts and mesh Offside the Jumbo Operator for all ground support activities Carry out pre‐start checks on equipment and vehicles Learn essential underground mining skills as part of an experienced and supportive crew Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes Experience in physically demanding roles (e.g., trades assistant, labouring, farming, drilling offsider).
Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures Relevant operating tickets and licences including Working at Heights Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
