About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Building Inspector to join a high-performing inspections team.
Working closely with the Division Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring construction quality, structural compliance, and workmanship standards across a variety of residential building projects.
This position offers autonomy, variety and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of building inspections including Pre-purchase inspections, PCI inspections and various structural inspections during other stages of construction
Inspect roof frames, brickwork, timber wall frames and trusses
Inspect concrete slabs including suspended and ground slabs prior to pours
Assess waterproofing works and roof sheeting installations
Complete dilapidation inspections
Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and recommendations
Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal stakeholders




Skills & Experience
Previous experience in building inspection or construction is essential
Registered Builder qualification highly regarded
Strong understanding of NCC requirements and Australian Standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
Strong team collaboration and mentoring capabilities
Current Australian Driver's Licence required
