The Role:
SEME Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-security and critical infrastructure projects across Western Australia and nationally.
This role is focused on the successful execution of projects within Defence, Government, and regulated environments, with additional exposure to resources and commercial sectors.
You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery excellence, compliance, and strong commercial outcomes.
The position will play a key role in supporting SEME's national expansion strategy, including coordination of subcontractor delivery partners and involvement in interstate project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Governance
Lead end-to-end delivery of security integration projects across high-security and critical infrastructure environment
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Manage project planning, scheduling, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
Oversee project documentation including ITPs, commissioning records, and compliance documentation
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary interface between SEME, clients, consultants, and head contractors
Build and maintain strong relationships within Defence, Government, and commercial stakeholders
Provide clear and consistent project reporting to internal leadership and clients
Commercial and Financial Management
Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and margin performance
Prepare monthly forecasts covering labour, materials, and invoicing
Identify and negotiate variations, ensuring commercial outcomes are protected
Technical Leadership
Provide oversight and guidance to field teams across Access Control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
Support commissioning activities and ensure systems are delivered to specification and operational requirements
Ensure alignment with SEME engineering standards and client technical requirements
National Delivery & Subcontractor Coordination
Coordinate and manage subcontractor delivery partners across WA and interstate regions
Support SEME's Growth into existing and future growth markets and verticals through scalable delivery models
Maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards across all delivery partners
Compliance & High-Security Environments
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with industry standards, site-specific requirements, and regulatory frameworks
Operate effectively within secure and compliance-driven environments, including Defence and Government sites
Support adherence to internal quality systems and commissioning processes
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the electronic security industry
Strong background delivering Access Control and CCTV projects
Demonstrated experience managing projects in high-compliance or regulated environments
Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variation management
Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders across complex projects
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Western Australian Security Licence
Willingness to travel for project delivery (WA and interstate as required)
Preferred Experience:
Experience delivering projects within Defence, Government, or critical infrastructure sectors
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Gallagher, Genetec, or Inner Range
Exposure to high-security environments, clearances, or regulated project environments
Experience managing subcontractor delivery models across multiple regions
Project Management qualifications (Diploma, PMP, or equivalent)

Perth CBD-based role with regular site visits
Monday to Friday position with additional hours as required
