SMS Group Services are currently seeking experienced and reliable Painter Blasters, Leading Hands and Supervisors for shutdowns and ongoing roles south of the river.
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience working as a Painter Blaster or Painter Blaster Supervisor
Ability to work independently and within fast-paced teams
Strong commitment to safety and dedication to providing quality work
Construction White Card
Confined Space (CSE)
Working at Heights (WAH)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Rights to work in Australia
Desirable Criteria:
Certificate III in Surface Preparation
NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1 (CIP 1)
NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 2 (CIP 2) (Preferred for Supervisors)
NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 3 (CIP 3) (Highly Desirable for QA/QC Supervisors)
UHP Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System Certificate (Hydro Blasters)
Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
Current Police Clearance
Forklift Ticket (LF)
Elevated Work Platform (WP)
