We are
currently seeking experienced an Occupational
Therapist to provide support to our residents at
Bethanie Sites across Perth.
We are open to
discussion based on availability.
This role
is offered on a Casual Basis.
The
Role
Complete therapy
assessments and respond to clinical referrals.
Plan
and implement individual or group therapeutic activities,
whilst working with an interdisciplinary team to maintain an
effective referral system and coordinate therapy
implementation.
Direct
and coordinate Therapy Assistants.
Maintain appropriate
clinical documentation and information systems.
Contribute to a
multidisciplinary program of continuous
improvement.
Incorporate aged care
quality standards into all services.
Synthesise
information, through observation and written documentation, to
provide recommendations that are relationship centred and
informed by evidence based best practice.
Undertake a range of
assessments that help to understand the holistic experience of
the person.

About
You
Current full,
unrestricted registration with the Australian Health
Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational
Therapist.
Relevant experience in
an aged care environment or supporting people living with
dementia is an advantage.
Be
relatable and able to share knowledge in a way that supports
change at all levels.
High
level of negotiation, communication and relationship building
skills.
Excellent problem
solving and decision-making skills.
Able
to manage a complex workload and adapt to fast changing
priorities and environments.
Demonstrates effective
communication, strong verbal and written skills, and
interpersonal skills.
Willingness to obtain
relevant vaccinations.
Current NDIS Worker
Screening Check.
