About the role
We're after a Dental Assistant to join our Robina Village team full-time.
The
roster
runs Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5:15pm (6:15pm on Thursdays), with a 30-minute break each day, 38 hours a week.
Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are yours.
You'll split your time between chairside support and sterilisation, with reception backup when the front desk needs an extra hand, across a mix of general and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign.
What you'll be doing
Assisting chairside: passing instruments, using suction, and taking digital X-rays
Preparing instruments and materials for each patient's treatment
Following our infection control protocols, including cleaning, sterilising and storing instruments, and keeping sterilisation records
Setting up and packing down treatment rooms and the sterilisation room each day
Welcoming and settling patients, and answering their questions where you can




Helping out on reception when the team needs an extra hand
What we're looking for
Essential
At least 1 year's experience as a Dental Assistant
Confident with infection control protocols and a current first aid certificate (or willing to update it)
Up to date immunisations
Professional presentation and a genuine team player
Preferred
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
Experience assisting with Invisalign or cosmetic treatments (highly regarded)
Some reception experience
