This is a recruitment process for
Fixed Term or Permanent appointment(s) at various hours, with the
possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Fremantle
Hospitalis a 300-bed specialist hospital delivering
high-quality aged care, mental health, rehabilitation, planned
surgery and medical services.
Supporting the tertiary and
quaternary services of Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital
provides a broad range of specialist care across areas including
orthopaedics, general and plastic surgery, ENT, specialised hand
surgery, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, endoscopy, dental and
maxillofacial, and women's health services.

We are currently
seeking a Senior Pharmacist to join our team.The
Senior Pharmacist promotes safe, rational and cost-effective drug
therapy by providing specialised clinical pharmacy services to the
surgical medicine service which includes monitoring of the
patient's total medication profile, providing drug information and
undertaking teaching and research.
This role plans, implements and
evaluates patient safety and quality of care and participates in
quality improvement initiatives within surgical medicine.
The
successful applicant will provide clinical expertise and leadership
in the provision of Pharmacy Services to surgical medicine and
provides supervision, training,



education and support to pharmacy
staff and other disciplines.
The Senior Pharmacist ensures practice
is in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration
Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines
including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health
Practitioners and SMHS policies and
guidelines.
