About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated
Female Disability Support Worker
to join our growing team.
This role is perfect for someone who sees disability support as a long-term career rather than simply a job.
You'll provide person-centred support to participants with varying support needs through:
Community access and meaningful outings
Group-based day programs
Daily living and independent living skill development
Personal care
Emotional regulation support
Social connection and relationship building
Helping participants achieve their individual NDIS goals
Every shift is different, but every shift has purpose.
Who We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who leads with both heart and professionalism.
Someone who naturally builds trust, stays calm under pressure and genuinely wants to help others live their best life.
You are:
Reliable, committed and someone your team can always count on.
Highly experienced supporting participants with complex behaviours and high support needs.
Patient, calm and confident during challenging situations.
Compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental.
Professional with excellent communication skills.




Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Flexible, proactive and willing to go above and beyond.
Passionate about creating meaningful experiences rather than simply completing tasks.
Essential Requirements
Significant experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours and high support needs
Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and the ability to implement behaviour support strategies consistently.
Demonstrated experience writing high-quality progress notes, incident reports, behaviour records (ABC data), and other participant documentation that is clear, accurate, objective, and completed within required timeframes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working with Children Check
Current First Aid & CPR
Availability Tuesday-Friday
Ability to commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week
Current driver's licence
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Excellent communication skills
Highly Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
Experience with Positive Behaviour Support
Auslan experience
Experience facilitating community access or group programs
