Akron Group NT is looking for an experienced and motivated Fence Installer to join our growing construction team.
We have ongoing work across commercial, government and residential projects throughout Darwin and Palmerston, with immediate starts available.
About the Role
You will be responsible for installing a range of fencing systems, primarily chain mesh fencing and Styleline panel fencing, while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.
Duties Include:
Setting out fence lines
Installing chain mesh fencing and gates
Installing Styleline panel fencing
Digging post holes and setting posts in concrete
Installing rails, mesh, panels and fittings
Operating power tools and small plant safely




Maintaining a clean and protected worksite
Working effectively within a team to meet project deadlines
What We're Looking For
Previous fencing installation experience
Experience installing chain mesh and Styleline panel fencing
White Card (Construction Induction)
Current Driver's Licence
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
Desirable
Welding and basic steel fabrication experience
Experience fabricating or modifying gates and fencing components
Excavator operating experience and relevant competency/tickets
