This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Therapy Assistant
to join our
Inglewood
site on a permanent part-time basis.
Whilst working as a Therapy Assistant you will be an important part of the multi-disciplinary team and provide assistance in all aspects of day-to-day care and individualised therapy, lifestyle and leisure programs.
This role focuses on creating meaningful experiences, ensuring each day is the best it can be for our clients by promoting engagement, connection, and well-being.
The successful candidate will be working at Brightwater Inglewood; comprising 128 private rooms and located within our Brightwater Central campus.
This position is offered on a permanent part time basis, with regular working hours from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm each Monday and Tuesday.
The successful candidate will be engaged on a permanent contract of 16 hours per fortnight.
In addition, there is a fixed-term shift available each Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm until 1 January ****.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be available to work all three shifts each week.
There may also be opportunities to accept additional shifts at the site.
Candidates will be considered for future similar vacancies.
To be suitable for this role, you must possess:
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance - desirable
Experience working as a Therapy Assistant in aged care - desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences




A positive, proactive and client focused approach
A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Responsibilities include:
Provision of goal directed therapy programs in accordance with Care Plan in group or individual settings
Provision of recreational based activities to meet social and emotional needs
Contribute to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve wellbeing
Support volunteers to enhance the site therapy program
Contribute to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents
