Our Food and Beverage Attendants are responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, assisting in the seamless execution of events and conferences, and ensuring high standards of food and beverage service at all times.
The purpose of the Food and Beverage Attendant role is:
To assist in the smooth operation of events and conferences, ensuring guests are greeted warmly, their needs are met, and the event runs efficiently.
To maintain high standards of service delivery, ensuring food and beverage is served promptly, professionally, and in line with health and safety standards.

Guest Reception and Welcome
Greet guests in a warm, qualified manner upon arrival.
Assist with check-in and registration processes, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
Event Coordination and Setup
Prepare event spaces by arranging furniture, setting up audiovisual equipment, and ensuring all necessary materials are in place, demonstrating consistency in service.




Coordinate with Front-of-House Coordinator and event organisers to understand the specific needs and requirements of the guests.
Customer Service
Address and resolve guest enquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and effectively, showcasing accountability.
Provide information about venue facilities, services, and event details to guests.
Food and Beverage Services
Serve food and drinks to guests during events, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
Assist with the setup, replenishment, and stock management of food and beverage stations.
Monitor inventory levels, reporting shortages or needs for replenishment to the Front-of-House Coordinator/Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Event Support
Provide on-site support during events.
Monitor event progress and address any issues or disruptions that may arise with the Front-of-House Coordinator.
Safety and Cleanliness
Ensure that all areas of the venue are clean, organised, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular checks to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Problem Resolution
Handle any issues or conflicts that arise during events with professionalism and discretion.
Escalate more complex issues to management as necessary.
Post-Event Duties
Assist with the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces, including returning furniture and equipment to their original locations.
Assist with collecting feedback from clients and guests to help improve future events and services.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with other front-of-house staff and other YVE Departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about venue policies and procedures, while embracing a fun and engaging workplace culture.
