We are seeking a highly organised and proactive
CHSP Program Support Officer
to join our team.
This role provides essential administrative and operational support to the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), including Meal Delivery Service (Vinnies Kitchen at Home) Garden Maintenance, Domestic Assistance and Transport, ensuring the efficient delivery of quality services to older people across our community.

About the Role
The CHSP Program Support Officer plays a key role in supporting client services, program administration, data management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
The successful candidate will work closely with program staff, clients, service providers, and external stakeholders to ensure services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with funding and organisational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Help prepare meals and assist with meal packing and distribution
Assist with client intake processes, service scheduling, and record management.
Maintain accurate client information and program data within relevant databases and systems.
Provide high-quality administrative support to CHSP programs and service delivery teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen, food service or hospitality environment.
Demonstrated experience in an administrative or program support role.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.




High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong customer service skills and a commitment to client-centred service delivery.
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and aged care sector requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
Food Safety Supervisor or Food Handling Certificate.
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Community Services) or similar.
First Aid Certificate.
Experience working within aged care, disability or community services.

Employment Requirements
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Current Working with Children Clearance/Ochre Card (or willingness to obtain).
Current NT Driver's Licence.
