Job Description/n
About the role:
/n
Reporting to the Manager Maintenance Services, this is a key leadership role for an experienced electrical, control systems or operational technology qualified who is ready to influence the performance,reliabilityand resilience of critical industrial infrastructure.
/n
As Superintendent Electrical Systems, you will lead the Electrical Systems, Process Control, and Operational Technology team, providingtechnicalleadership,governanceand specialist engineering support across Port Waratah’s electrical, communications, processcontroland OT assets.
/n
Key responsibilities include:
/n
/n
- Lead the Electrical Systems, Process Control and OT team, supporting safety, capability,performanceand engagement
/n
- Provide technical leadership across electrical systems, process control, industrial communications, OTinfrastructureand related operational assets
/n
- Develop andmaintainlong-term asset strategies, lifecycleplansand technologyroadmapsfor critical electrical and OT systems
/n
- Lead reliability improvement activities, including technical investigations,
root causeanalysisand practical engineering solutions
/n
- Oversee OT network governance, system resilience, vendor support, configurationstandardsand disaster recovery planning
/n
- Lead OT cybersecurity governance, including risk mitigation, vulnerability remediation,auditsand IT/OT interface management

What we are looking for:
/n
/n
- Extensive industrial experience in electrical systems, process control, operationaltechnologyor related infrastructure
/n
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded
/n
- Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, protection systems, motor control, industrial automation, PLC,SCADAand/or DCS systems
/n
- Experience with OT networks, industrial communications, cybersecurity, systemresilienceand asset lifecycle planning
/n
- Proven leadership capability, with the ability to engage, develop and influence technical teams and stakeholders
/n
- Experience in heavy industry, bulk materials handling, mining, ports,manufacturingor similar operational environments will be highly regarded.
