The Role

We're seeking a motivated and detail-driven Intermediate Accountant to join our tax and advisory team. You'll work alongside senior accountants and partners to deliver high-quality financial and tax services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for a range of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Manage BAS preparation and lodgements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle tax matters including Division 7A, CGT, and FBT.
- Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients regarding various tax and compliance issues.
- Assist with technical tax research and consulting projects.
- Continue developing your accounting, tax, and interpersonal skills through on-the-job experience, formal training, and progress in your CA or CPA studies.

About You





- You have 1-2 years of experience in public practice accounting.
- You're currently undertaking or planning to commence CA or CPA studies.
- You're confident preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a variety of clients.
- You have strong technical tax knowledge and a solid understanding of Australian tax legislation.
- You're detail-oriented, proactive, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
- You communicate clearly and professionally and work well independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
