Bren-Ten hire and excavations pty ltd' is seeking experienced Excavator Operators and Labourers/Truck drivers to join our dynamic team in Upper Coomera, Queensland. This is a full-time role, where you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Our business has been seeing consistent protected growth providing plenty of prospect for the right candidate to move into supervision.
What you'll be doing
- Operating excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Assisting with general labouring duties such as site preparation, loading and unloading equipment, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Collaborating with the broader construction team to complete projects on time and to a high standard
- Maintaining equipment and reporting any issues or maintenance requirements
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator and/or Construction Labourer, with a strong understanding of safety protocols
- Previous experience in Concrete sleeper retaining wall building preferred but not essential
- A valid driver's licence and previous experience operating heavy machinery
- Truck licence preferred but not essential
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and working effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Relevant construction industry qualifications or certifications (desirable)
