We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Chief Kitchen Steward to lead our stewarding team across the venue. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this full-time leadership role is responsible for driving high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety compliance, chemical management, deep cleaning programs, stock storage and sustainability initiatives.

What you'll be doing

- Leading, mentoring and developing the stewarding team
- Managing stewarding operations across our kitchen and event spaces
- Overseeing deep cleaning schedules and assisting with food safety compliance
- Managing chemical safety programs, SDS registers and kitchen WHS requirements
- Supporting stock receival and storage standards
- Driving sustainability and waste management initiatives




- Coordinating stewarding support for day to day operations, major functions and events
- Working closely with chefs, maintenance and operational teams to ensure our kitchens are compliant and operating at their best.

About You

You will bring:

- Experience in a senior stewarding and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
- Proven people leadership and rostering experience
- Sound understanding of chemical handling, WHS and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- A proactive approach with a passion for maintaining high standards.
