About the Transdisciplinary School
The Transdisciplinary School (TDS) is home to the internationally acclaimed Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation and a hub for transdisciplinary education, research, and innovation. TDS specialises in complex problem solving and works with more than 1,200 industry and public sector partners to deliver challenge-based learning, transdisciplinary research, and innovative education programs across the university and beyond.
About the Role
This is a continuing balanced-academic position. The successful candidate will be contributing to learning and teaching, research, and engagement activities in the Transdisciplinary School and the wider university.
Specifically, the candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching a new pan-university Transdisciplinary Electives program, and if aligned with the candidate's background and depending on where needs arise, the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation, Diploma of Innovation, and short forms of learning. The candidate will also actively contribute to TDS's transdisciplinary research agenda.

About You
To be successful in the role,
you will need to demonstrate your suitability to specific role requirements, which include (but are not limited to):
- Demonstrated ability in teaching, and capabilities in developing innovative experiences in transdisciplinary learning.
- Research focus in transdisciplinary methods and/or one of the School's designated research themes. Applicants should preferably have a track record in transdisciplinary research.
- A track record of academic publication and/or industry innovation project outcomes appropriate for Level B.
- Evidence of collaboration and networking skills (education and industry).

Remuneration/Salary
Base Salary Range: $127,119 to $150,453 per annum (Academic Level B - Balanced-academic position)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
A hybrid work arrangement is available which comprises of working onsite at the UTS Broadway Sydney campus and remote working.
Appointment at Level B requires a conferred PhD. Candidates who are near to submitting their PhD thesis, or who have submitted and are awaiting conferral, will be considered for appointment at Level A until such time that the PhD has been conferred.
