Golden Eggs is a proudly Western Australian business operating layer farms, grading and distribution facilities across the state. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team and take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing while supporting workforce administration activities across the business.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the organisation while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards, taxation and superannuation requirements.

You will work closely with employees, managers and the HR team to provide payroll support, maintain employee records and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Process fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.

Manage payroll changes including current starters, salary variations and terminations.

Process leave, allowances, deductions and superannuation contributions.

Validate timesheets and payroll-related data.

Maintain accurate payroll and employee records.

Ensure compliance with payroll, taxation, superannuation and employment legislation.

Complete end-of-month and end-of-financial-year payroll activities.

About You





To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in an end-to-end payroll position.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Experience using payroll, HRIS or workforce management systems.
- A proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
