We're now looking for exceptional people to help accelerate the next phase of our growth, expanding into new markets, launching new products, developing new partnerships and building a legal function that keeps pace with the business while managing risk and creating value. The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to join an established, high performing legal team within a fast growing global technology company.

You'll work alongside experienced senior in house lawyers while making your own impact as a trusted commercial adviser who is technically strong, commercially astute and highly capable of leveraging AI to deliver exceptional outcomes. The breadth of legal work at Auto Grab will allow you to apply your corporate and commercial legal expertise, developed in private practice and/or other in house environments, while exercising genuine commercial judgment and delivering practical advice at pace. We are an AI-native business, and we expect our legal function to reflect that.

We are looking for someone who is actively using AI tools in their legal practice today, whether to accelerate contract review, improve drafting quality, strengthen negotiation strategies, streamline legal research or reduce time spent on routine tasks.
Equally important is the ability to apply sound legal judgment and commercial expertise over the top, ensuring risks are appropriately managed while creating value for the business. You will work closely with our senior legal team in supporting our Sales, Technology, Product, Operations and People functions. We're not looking for someone who is simply curious about AI.

What You'll DoDraft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements across Auto Grab's Dealer, Insurance, Fleet, OEM and Data businesses. Advise commercial teams on contract terms, liability allocation, risk management and deal structuring. Maintain and continuously improve Auto Grab's suite of standard agreements, templates and commercial playbooks. Review and negotiate data-sharing agreements, API agreements and supplier contracts with strategic partners. Support the legal team in leveraging leading AI tools to improve efficiency, consistency and legal capability. Corporate Governance & Compliance Assist with Board and committee processes, including the preparation of Board papers, resolutions and statutory filings. Support ESOP administration, including option grants, offer documentation and ongoing compliance. Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with obligations under the Corporations Act across the Group. Support privacy compliance across Australian and international operations, including the Privacy Act and GDPR. Assist with regulatory monitoring and compliance reviews across Auto Grab's operating jurisdictions.M&A; & Strategic Transactions Support end-to-end mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, transaction documentation, negotiations and post-acquisition integration. Assist in managing external legal advisers on complex or specialised legal matters. General Legal Support Provide practical, commercially pragmatic legal advice across the business.



Assist with intellectual property, dispute resolution and enterprise risk matters. Partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Technology, Finance and People. What We're Looking For Required3–5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally from a top-tier or leading commercial law firm. Solid transactional and commercial contracting experience—you are accurate, efficient and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Sound knowledge of Australian corporate and commercial law. Demonstrated ability to provide practical, commercially minded legal advice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Admission to practise in Australia. Comfortable operating autonomously while managing multiple competing priorities. Genuinely passionate about AI and experienced in applying it to legal practice.

You actively use AI tools in your work today and can demonstrate specific examples of how you've improved speed, accuracy or quality while continuing to exercise sound legal judgment and commercial expertise. Experience in technology, SaaS or data businesses. Exposure to UK, EU or other international legal frameworks, particularly GDPR and cross-border data arrangements. Experience supporting ESOP administration or employee equity schemes. Previous in-house experience within a high-growth or international business.
