ANUM / Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3

Permanent Part Time | 64 hours per fortnight
Adolescent Inpatient Unit | Box Hill Hospital

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse to join the Adolescent Inpatient team in a senior leadership position. The AIPU (Adolescent Inpatient Unit) is a 12 bed acute psychiatric unit that treats young people aged 13-17 years of age.
The successful applicant will work closely with the NUM and CNC in managing the ward milieu on a daily basis.

About you

Minimum 3 years post grad experience in an acute/inpatient setting
Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
Post Graduate qualifications in mental health nursing or working towards
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.





Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
