This represents an outstanding opportunity with one of the leading accounting firms based in Mackay. This firm has been in operation for 50+ years and have an excellent reputation in the local community. This firm boasts an incredible client base. The firm goes above and beyond for their employees.

POSITION

Due to the need for future succession planning and growth, the position of Associate Director has been created.

This role will involve the following:

- Work alongside the Partners to manage a client portfolio
- Assist in the day to day operations of the firm
- New business development
- Provide leadership to a motivated team
- Help grow the advisory arm of the firm in addition to the tax compliance fee base

CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- CA/CPA
- 10+ years experience in Australian Public Practice
- A genuine passion and interest in progressing to equity partnership (2 years)
- Experience with primary production and mining clients would be highly desirable (or a willingness to work with clients in this industry)




- Experience with clients in excess of $100m in turnover
- Ability to operate at the level of Director
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (non negotiable)
- An excellent work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn
