Access the
Community Housing Delivery contribution is to deliver innovation and accountable program development and management for the Department's investment in housing and homelessness services. We work collaboratively with not-for-profit, for-profit and government partners to achieve a more effective and integrated service system and improved long-term outcomes for clients requiring housing and homelessness assistance.
What you will be doing:
- Effectively engage and liaise with the Housing Partnerships office to ensure that our built products and services meet the needs of the community at a place-based level.
- Apply advanced project management skills to support the capital works program of the team; this includes assisting with the implementation of the Agile project management methodology.
- Undertake complex business analysis and reporting functions for the team, including urgent requests for project information from across the department.
- Respond to emerging policy and funding issues relating to the National Regulatory Scheme for Community Housing.
- Contribute to the implementation of effective and efficient business processes and customer service to manage the registration of proposals and innovative ideas from individuals and organisations for consideration by the Department.
- Contribute to effective strategic and operational management of capital projects delivered by the department or by third parties.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
Mandatory Requirement:
- There are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, extensive working knowledge of National Regulatory Scheme for Community Housing and 2017-2027 Queensland Housing Strategy will be highly regarded.
