Led by a people-focused Director who genuinely invests in their team, and supported by a close-knit team of five, the firm prides itself on delivering high-quality accounting solutions while maintaining a supportive and cooperative workplace culture.
They are now seeking an Intermediate Accountant who is eager to continue developing their skills, receive hands-on mentoring, and play an important role in servicing a diverse portfolio of clients.
About the Role
As an Intermediate Accountant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client portfolio
- Preparing BAS and IAS lodgements
- Communicating directly with clients regarding queries and general accounting matters
- Supporting a broad range of SME clients across various industries
- Working closely with senior team members to continue developing your technical skills
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- At least two years' Australian accounting and tax experience
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns within a public practice environment
- A genuine desire to continue learning and progressing your accounting career
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
- A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail
