Surveyor
Deliver Accurate Surveying Across Civil & Road Projects

Aptella is seeking a degree-qualified Surveyor with road infrastructure experience to join our QLD team.

You’ll support the delivery of civil and road construction projects by producing accurate survey data, supporting set-out and as-built works, and ensuring safe, high-quality field execution.

Working closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams, you’ll play a key role in enabling successful road construction, upgrades, and infrastructure delivery.

The Role

This is a field-based surveying role supporting civil and road projects across QLD and surrounding regions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Perform set-out, control, and as-built surveys across road and civil projects

- Support road construction works including alignment, levels, drainage, and pavement

- Capture, process, and manage accurate survey data

- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams

- Operate and maintain modern surveying equipment and software (e.g. Leica, Trimble)

- Ensure compliance with WHS, site safety, and quality standards

- Support quality assurance through accurate checks and reporting

- Contribute to continuous improvement in survey processes and technology use

About You





You are a hands-on, detail-focused surveyor who thrives in agile construction environments.

You bring:

- Degree qualification in Surveying or related discipline

- Experience in road, civil, or infrastructure surveying

- Strong understanding of roadworks, alignment, levels, and set-out

- Proficiency with survey equipment and data processing software

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- A proactive, safety-first mindset and strong work ethic

Experience on major transport or road infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
