We are partnering with a leading listed investment and alternative asset management business seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their Group Finance team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong finance professional with a Big 4 and/or financial services background looking to step into a broad Group-level role with exposure to complex structures, senior stakeholders and strategic business initiatives.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and wider executive team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, strengthening governance frameworks and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Governance

- Lead end-to-end statutory and listed reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

- Manage complex group consolidations across multiple entities and structures

- Lead external audit processes and manage key auditor relationships

- Prepare and review technical accounting papers and accounting policy documentation

- Support complex accounting matters including acquisitions, impairment assessments and other technical accounting requirements

- Strengthen and maintain financial controls and governance processes

- Drive improvements in reporting quality, efficiency and automation

Management Reporting & Commercial Finance

- Lead month-end close and management reporting processes

- Partner with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis

- Support cashflow forecasting,



financing activities and business performance initiatives

- Provide meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making

Leadership & Process Improvement

- Lead, mentor and develop members of the finance team

- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

- Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives

- Support the development of scalable reporting and control frameworks

About You

- CA / CPA qualified

- Approximately 8–12 years’ experience gained within Big 4 and/or ASX-listed or financial services environments

- Funds management, investment management or financial services experience highly regarded

- Strong technical accounting knowledge across AASB / IFRS and group consolidations

- Experience preparing and reviewing statutory reports and board-level reporting

- Demonstrated leadership experience within finance teams

- Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- Systems-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
