Cooks and Baristas – Food Van (Permanent Site)

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cooks and Baristas to join our food van, operating from a permanent site in Canberra.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, takes pride in food quality, and enjoys interacting with customers.

Due to the nature of the site, you must have or be willing to get a national police check and be an Australian, New Zealand, American, Canadian or English citizen.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch items including egg and bacon rolls, hamburgers, chips, wraps, and daily specials
- Making all types of coffee at a fast pace
- Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene requirements are met




- Assisting with stock control and ordering
- Keeping the food van clean, organized, and well-presented
- Providing friendly customer service when required

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience working in a cafe, takeaway shop, food truck, or commercial kitchen
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to handle busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Coffee-making experience is highly regarded and will be considered a bonus
