Senior Electrical Engineer | Building Services

Core Talent are partnering with a well-established electrical contractor to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer for their Perth office.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in building services design who is looking to broaden their responsibilities and continue developing their career. While experience in electrical design is important, this isn't a pure design role. Instead, you'll work closely with experienced engineers and project teams, supporting the technical delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial and infrastructure projects, with genuine opportunities to progress into a more senior or managerial position over time.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the delivery and coordination of electrical engineering activities across building services projects.
- Review and coordinate electrical designs, calculations and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to project managers, site teams and clients throughout project delivery.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Support design coordination, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Ensure engineering deliverables comply with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and client specifications.




- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with the wider engineering team.

About You

- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience within electrical building services, consulting or commercial construction projects.
- Exposure to electrical design using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, PowerCAD, ETAP or similar.
- A sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and electrical building services principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Looking to take the next step in your career and develop towards a senior engineering or engineering management role.
