Role & Client Overview:
A leading professional services firm is seeking an in-house Finance Manager to join its Brisbane CBD office. This is a broad opportunity offering exposure across financial operations, reporting, commercial finance and business projects while partnering closely with the executive leadership team.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to senior leadership, you'll lead the day-to-day finance function with support from the wider team. This role offers a mix of operational and strategic responsibilities, providing the opportunity to influence business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
The Role:
- Oversee the firm's finance operations, reporting and compliance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and management reporting
- Manage cash flow, reconciliations and financial controls
- Oversee trust accounting and audit requirements
- Partner with the executive team to provide commercial insights
- Lead and support the finance team while driving process improvements
About You:
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards), or an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager
- Trust accounting experience is essential
- Solid financial reporting, stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Proactive, commercially minded and keen to contribute beyond the day-to-day finance function
