As a Pharmacist in the Air Force, you’ll provide pharmacy services and qualified advice in a variety of unique environments. You’ll develop medication policies, instruct health training programs, and manage health logistics and resourcing for remote exercises and operations.

Your duties may include:

- clinical services - working within a Defence Health Facility, your role as the clinical pharmacist will include dispensing medications and management of pharmaceutical accounts

- health logistics - ordering and stock control, policy management, health equipment management, transport of medical equipment and pharmaceutical accounts.

As an Air Force Officer, you’ll also be trained to become an inspirational leader and mentor, equipped with highly sought-after management skills.

Salary

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $97,168.

Location

Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley or Williamtown.

Eligibility

For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, have completed a degree in Pharmacy, and be registered as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
