About the role

Townsville Tourist and Lifestyle Village is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist (Part Time) to join our team. This is a part-time position based in Townsville QLD 4817. As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and callers, playing a vital role in creating positive first impressions and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our facility.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and welcoming guests, residents, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour

- Managing incoming telephone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff members

- Maintaining the reception area to ensure it is clean, organised, and welcoming at all times

- Processing visitor check-ins and managing sign-in procedures in accordance with facility policies

- Handling general enquiries and providing information about facilities, services, and activities available

- Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence

- Managing the reception desk independently during assigned shifts

What we're looking for

- Experience with RMS (Reservation Management System) is preferred, however not essential.

- Proven experience working as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing administrative role

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment

- Proficiency with computer systems and office software, including email and scheduling programmes





- A professional appearance and manner with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service

- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to adapt to part-time scheduling requirements

- The ability to remain calm and composed when handling challenging situations or difficult interactions
